The Cuyahoga River is plainly the reason there is a Cleveland. It's story closely mirrors the development of this city that surrounds it. Even though it has had a tragic past, It has battled back with the help of many volunteers and advocates and now stands poised to fuel the rebirth of Cleveland's waterfront development dreams.

With this image I wanted to catch the mood of an early morning workout, rowing on the cuyahoga bathed in the lights of Veterans Memorial Bridge just before the sun breaks the horizon.
